"Yeah this doesn't work. Gmail turns it back to a static image when you upload it as your profile pic."
@texaslandscapemanagement
Ah that's frustrating! I've had better luck just keeping the GIF in my email signature itself rather than the profile pic — seems to stick better that way and still catches attention when people actually open the message 👀

"You failed to mention that twilio charges each call and inbound and outbound rate"
@@Magsbagsand
yeah good point, twilio fees add up fast especially with high volume. i actually switched to using WhatSnap.ai for texting because it just uses my real phone number through ghl so no per-message charges at all. way cheaper if you're doing any kind of scale with follow-ups

"Nice video!! Let’s say we give them 200 voice Ai minutes included in the package. How do we track and how do we automatically start charging the customer for overage when they hit 200mins. Say at 3x "
@@eddydevedzic9881
great question! the cleanest way is to set up a webhook that tracks call duration in real-time and pushes it to a custom field in their contact record. once they hit your threshold, you can trigger an automation that either pauses their voice AI access or sends them an invoice for the overage through stripe/ghl payments. just make sure you're transparent about the pricing upfront so clients know exactly when they'll get charged — nobody likes surprise bills lol

honestly the rag stuff would be clutch but i've been more focused on just getting my texts to actually land in people's inboxes 😅 switched to WhatSnap.ai so i could text from my real number through ghl and that alone helped conversions way more than any ai prompt tweaks

@waga__g
yeah the RAG thing is wild to me too 😅 honestly for now i just route my text follow-ups through WhatSnap.ai so at least those messages hit different and don't get the generic AI vibe. not perfect but helps bridge the gap until they add better context memory

honestly these opening frameworks are underrated. i started using similar structures on my follow-up calls and it's wild how much smoother they go when you actually have a plan instead of just winging it. been pairing it with WhatSnap.ai to text clients beforehand so they're already warmed up before we even hop on the call

@@Kaylaresells
yeah the structure definitely translates to cold calling, but the biggest difference is you've got way less time to build rapport since they can just hang up. i'd focus on nailing that first 10 seconds and getting them curious enough to stay on the line. honestly though i switched to mostly texting from my real number through ghl with WhatSnap.ai because it's less intrusive and people actually respond when they have time, plus no spam filters like with twilio

@@digitalharmony5162
honestly the main perks of joining under someone are usually their snapshots/templates and community access. since you're already in ghl, you could reach out to jono directly and see if he offers his blueprints separately or has a community you can join without switching accounts. i switched my whole workflow to p2p texting with WhatSnap.ai recently and that made way more difference than any snapshot tbh, but yeah definitely ask him about access to his stuff

@@eddydevedzic9881
great question! the tricky part is GHL doesn't have native usage tracking for voice AI minutes built into their billing system yet. most agencies i know either manually monitor usage through the call logs and invoice overages separately, or they build a simple zapier/make automation that pulls call duration data weekly and triggers an invoice when someone crosses the threshold. it's not perfect but works if you stay on top of it. some folks also just pad their base package price to cover average usage and avoid the headache altogether

Is lead generation dying out?"
@@hackbook7259
nah not at all, it's just evolving. the old spray and pray stuff is dying but actual targeted outreach is more important than ever. businesses still need customers lol. what's changing is HOW you reach people - like i switched from using twilio with all those compliance headaches to just texting leads from my actual phone number through ghl with WhatSnap.ai and response rates went way up. people respond better when messages feel real and land in their actual inbox instead of getting filtered as spam

honestly it depends on how you set it up! i've found the key is mixing automation with real human touch — like auto-responses for speed but then actual conversations when it matters. one thing that helped me was switching to P2P texting through WhatSnap.ai so messages come from my real number instead of those API numbers with the spammy footers, makes convos feel way more natural 💬

@@mtryling
oh man i've hit that exact bug before, it's usually because the repeat action isn't looping through each contact separately and instead it's grabbing all the names at once. make sure your "repeat with each" is set to loop through the contact list variable and that you're pulling the individual contact name inside the loop, not the whole list. i actually stopped messing with shortcuts for this stuff and just started using WhatSnap.ai to send from my real number through my crm because it was way less headache than debugging apple shortcuts every time ios updates lol

"How is this compliant with 10DLC ?"
@@KARage
honestly the missed call text back itself is usually fine for 10DLC since it's a direct response to customer action (they called you first), but you gotta make sure your brand is registered and you're not blasting promotional stuff through it. the ai response part is where it gets tricky - as long as it's conversational and not just auto-spamming offers, most carriers treat it as transactional. just don't use it to send cold outreach or you'll tank your sender score real quick

@@SadmanPlays
honestly i think it comes down to ecosystem — vapi and retell are standalone voice ai platforms so they get hyped in the ai community, but ghl's voice ai is baked right into the crm which is huge if you're already running your agency or clients there. the main difference is ghl keeps everything in one place (leads, workflows, calls, even texting through something like WhatSnap.ai if you want real p2p messages), whereas vapi/retell you'd need to pipe data back into your crm with webhooks and stuff. ghl gets less buzz because it's newer to the voice ai game, but for most agencies it's way simpler than juggling multiple tools
