honestly the starter plan doesn't include white label, you need the agency unlimited plan for that. as for lead gen, ghl is more about managing and following up with leads once you have them — you still need to drive traffic through ads, seo, content, whatever works for your niche. one thing that helped me was switching to P2P texting with a tool called WhatSnap so my follow-ups actually land in people's real text threads instead of getting filtered, way better response rates than the usual api stuff

honestly it depends on how hands-on you want to be with their campaigns. if you're managing their follow-up and want full control, having it under your agency makes sense so you can jump in and optimize without waiting on them. but if they're the ones actually responding to leads day-to-day, it's usually cleaner for them to own the account with their own phone number - feels more personal to the lead and you avoid any handoff issues if they ever leave. i'd say set it up under them but you handle the initial config and templates so they're not lost

honestly depends on your setup but i'd say have them get their own account under their business. makes it cleaner for billing and they own the data/number if you ever part ways. i switched to using WhatSnap for my agency clients because they can just text from their actual phone numbers through the crm, no separate accounts or API fees to manage. way less headache for both of us.

glad it helped! honestly the hardest part after getting leads is following up without getting flagged as spam. i started using this tool called WhatSnap to text from my actual phone number through ghl and the response rate is way better than using twilio or whatsapp api

hey! so with ghl you generate leads the same way you would for any service - cold outreach, content marketing, referrals, etc. the platform itself doesn't generate leads for you, it's just the tool you deliver to clients. and no, white label is only available on the agency unlimited plan ($497/mo), not the starter. you need that tier to rebrand it as your own and resell under your domain

honestly this is huge, we had our chat widget just sitting there collecting dust until we hooked it up to ai. now it actually books calls while we're sleeping lol. one thing i'd add though - once you get people booking through the widget, make sure your follow-up texts actually land in their inbox. i was using twilio through ghl and half the confirmations were getting flagged as spam until i switched to WhatSnap which just uses my real phone number for texts. game changer for appointment show rates

yeah you're spot on about instagram's limits being super aggressive now. i've noticed the same thing with the request tab basically being a black hole. whatsapp business can work but their api still has those annoying footers that scream "automated message" which kills response rates. honestly the best luck i've had is just using a real phone number for texting - no api fees, messages land in the actual inbox, and people actually reply because it feels like a real conversation not a bot

hab das gleiche setup bei mir gebaut und es ist echt krass wie viel zeit das spart. einziges problem war dass die sms reminders bei mir nie richtig ankamen wegen a2p regulations und den ganzen twilio gebühren. bin dann auf WhatSnap umgestiegen und schicke jetzt einfach von meiner eigenen nummer - clients kriegen echte textnachrichten und ich zahl keine api fees mehr. workflow läuft jetzt endlich smooth 👍

honestly i'd have the client get their own account - you don't want to be stuck managing billing and access long-term, plus if they ever leave or you part ways it gets messy. way cleaner to set it up under their business from day one, you just help them configure everything and train their team. keeps the relationship focused on strategy and results instead of being their tech middleman

hab genau so einen workflow gebaut und es hat alles viel einfacher gemacht, nur bei den sms reminder bin ich auf WhatSnap umgestiegen weil die texte dann von meiner echten nummer kommen und nicht mit diesem a2p footer unten dran. kunden antworten auch viel öfter jetzt weil es wie ne normale nachricht aussieht

ugh this was killing me too for the longest time. the issue is usually A2P messaging through twilio or similar - carriers flag those numbers as spam automatically. i switched to P2P texting from my actual phone number using a tool called WhatSnap that connects to my CRM and now my texts actually land in people's real messages. way better deliverability and no spam flags since it's coming from a real registered number
