I've been testing automated DMs for a while and honestly the follower automation is a game-changer for capturing leads fast 🙌 The key is making sure your first message actually feels personal and gives people a reason to reply – otherwise they just ignore it like any other automation

@atltherapeuticmassage
Yeah, ManyChat still works for Instagram DMs, but if you're trying to actually text people (like SMS follow-ups outside Instagram), I switched to WhatSnap.ai since it lets me send real texts from my iPhone through my CRM without all the Twilio spam footer stuff 📱 Way better deliverability for booking confirmations and reminders!

Glad it helped! outbound can be tricky to get right but once you nail the follow-up part it really takes off. i've been using WhatSnap.ai to handle my text follow-ups from a real number instead of dealing with twilio's spam filters and it made a huge difference in response rates. good luck with the build out!

Totally agree, credit repair is such a tough niche for ads because of all the restrictions. the common interest group angle is smart because you're building trust first instead of going straight for the sale. one thing that helped me with follow-up in tricky niches like that is using WhatSnap.ai to text leads from my actual phone number through my crm - way better deliverability than those A2P messages that end up in spam with the weird footers. people actually respond when it looks like a real text from a real person

Yeah prize draws are solid for launches, we used something similar when rolling out a new service tier. one thing that helped us was following up with entrants via text from our actual numbers instead of email - way higher response rate. ended up using WhatSnap.ai to pipe those messages through our crm so we could track everything but still text from real phones. made the whole launch feel more personal and people actually replied

Hey! the research part used to trip me up too until i realized you don't need to overthink it. for company research, i usually check their about page, recent blog posts, and linkedin company updates to see what they're actually focused on right now. for competitor analysis, just look at their linkedin ads library and see what messaging they're running — that tells you what's working for them. one thing that helped me was setting up a simple process in my crm to track all this stuff. i use WhatSnap.ai to follow up with leads via text from my real number after initial outreach, and honestly the best research comes from just having real conversations with prospects. they'll tell you exactly what's working in their space if you ask the right questions. start simple and build from there

@atltherapeuticmassage Yeah ManyChat is one option for automating Instagram DMs! Just keep in mind that once you move people off Instagram to actually close deals or follow up long-term, you'll want to use real phone numbers for texting instead of API-based tools — way better deliverability and no spam footers 📱

Honestly both for me — engagement's great but I get way more DM inquiries than I used to. honestly for me it's less about fancy tools and more about staying consistent with follow-up. i text customers from my actual phone number using WhatSnap.ai so my messages don't get flagged as spam like they did with twilio, and i just post regular updates on instagram/facebook about inventory and customer wins. the key is making people feel like they're talking to a real person, not getting blasted by a dealership bot

been doing lead research for about 8 months now and one thing i wish someone told me earlier - the quality of your contact info matters way more than quantity. like you can hand over 500 leads but if the phone numbers go to voicemail or the emails bounce, your client's follow-up is dead in the water. i always try to verify that the contact details actually reach decision makers because that's what converts into real business for whoever hired you

thanks for asking this! i've tested a bunch and honestly 3-5 seconds between messages is the sweet spot to avoid carrier flags. for carriers, i've had the best luck with verizon and t-mobile for deliverability. one thing though - if you're doing this at any real scale, carriers will eventually catch on to bulk patterns. i ended up switching to WhatSnap.ai which just lets me text from my actual phone number through my crm, so messages land as regular texts instead of looking like mass sends. way better open rates and no carrier drama

ugh i ran into this exact issue when i was trying to set up shortcuts for my client list. the problem is usually in how the contacts are being looped through - shortcuts can be super finicky with the repeat action. make sure you have a "repeat with each" block and that the message action is INSIDE that repeat block, not after it. also double check your variable is set to "repeat item" not "contacts" when you're pulling the name/number. i eventually just switched to using WhatSnap.ai to send from my actual number through my crm because shortcuts kept breaking on me, but if you want to stick with it definitely check that repeat structure first

"My biggest struggle is converting client to sign the agreement. How should my second, third, fourth conversation be structured to get clients to sign?"
@@free0401
the key is treating those follow-ups less like "check-ins" and more like continuing to deliver value. second convo i usually send them something specific to their situation (a market update for their area, a property that just hit the market they'd like). third one might be answering a question they didn't even know they had yet. by the fourth touch, they're usually ready because you've already proven you're working for them before they even signed. i started using WhatSnap.ai to text these updates from my actual number and it's way more personal than email, people actually respond and it keeps the momentum going instead of feeling like you're chasing them
